The Queer Cuts: Reimagining Queer Collage exhibit features seven LGBTQ+ artists from New York City that utilize collage as a way to deconstruct everyday images and experiences, drawing inspiration from renaissance paintings, (queer) punk aesthetics, and erotica, all the while questioning the world we live in and its established ideals of beauty.
This exhibit aims to elevate the queer practice of collage making in a multidisciplinary manner, looking at various artistic mediums such as printmaking, industrial design, works on paper, photography, and film to name a few. Artists include Kendrick Daye, Gabriel García Roman, Brittany Maldonado, Luis Martín, Beau McCall, LJ Roberts, and Carmine Santaniello.
