“Art should be striking and strong. I’m not interested in making something “pretty” or “realistic”. I want to create work that is captivating, relatable and poignant. An image that jolts people. Maybe makes them uncomfortable. Everything I produce is intentionally dramatic.

I don’t ever want my art to be appropriate, palatable or polite. It’s going to be too much for some people. But those who get it, will love it."
